Studio Tangerine  gets its name because of the tangerine glass coloured sconces, which became the highlight of the project.

We like to call this one “Small space, big personality”. One of our favorite projects, this studio came to us with high hopes and lots of enthusiasm.

The client wanted a refresh to her studio, while being in a pivoting moment for herself, focusing on wellbeing. This only added true value to the results.

The brief was : feel good colours , relaxed, fun and edgy, a splash of elegant, with warmth and natural light.

The challenges were not light. Small space, many functional requests : Queen size bed, vanity desk, couch and TV area, dining area, all in 27 sm.

Challenge accepted! We connected the space through a common symbol - the wall mouldings. We divided the space’s functionalities through visual accents : the bed enclosed  by light linen canopy, marking its end with a vanity desk. The couch following the bed, with a wall nightstand and coffee table, rounding things up with a circled rug. And for the TV wall, framed coloured pictures, vibrating in orange and pink.

And here come the tangerines! Marking the dining area by a round white table, and highlighting it by bringing a portion of the wall forward. To add personality and uniqueness, we applied a neutral toned textured wallpaper, with an organic graphic. To finnish it up, we added the crown jewels: two glass round sconces, in the colour of tangerines!
