The family of five faced many challenges, but the most fierce one was when their home endured a fire and they got left with nothing but ruins. Neighbours started helping them and built a new home, but there were financial challenges and could not continue. This is where we came in and took the construction site under control.

Focusing on the exterior area, my main concern was to offer a serene and peaceful feeling, with soft touches of natural colours and materials : plants, wood, cotton textiles, tones of beige and white of splashes of accent of sea blue.

The bedroom was dedicated to a 17 year old young man who favoured the color blue and never had his own room. So key aspects where to keep a fresh touch, dividing the bed area to leave room for bean-bags and also a study desk and dressing.
